About Me

 

Hello, I'm Amy and welcome to Slice of Yorkshire!

 

After years of baking for friends and family, I finally decided to turn my hobby into a business and in 2019 I made it my full-time job.

When choosing a name for the business it had to include Yorkshire as I (like many other Yorkshire people) have so much love for our county so that part was pretty easy. 

 

I'm based in Menston, Leeds and currently bake from home which is perfect for me but maybe one day I would love to have a little shop and a team of bakers alongside me... We will see!

I spend a lot of time playing around with new flavours, products and designs as it's so important to me that my bakes all look and taste amazing. I want to create cakes that are unique and memorable with my own style that really add to someone's celebration!
